AZUL | Wall Hanging Fiber Art Eye

A quirky and surreal hoop art. Perfect for any eclectic space that needs an eye-lift *wink wink, nudge nudge*

This machine embroidered "freestanding lace" sculpture was designed by myself using an embroidery digitizing software, then stitched out using my home sewing/embroidery machine and assembled by hand stitching together.

The 3-dimensional eyeball is stuffed with scrap fabric to keep its shape. The eyelid and lash stand on their own with a little help from a firm felt-like material. The curls on the lash stand freely thanks to a water-soluble fabric stabilizer. That said...

⚠️Please DO NOT soak it in water or wet it in any way as it could reshape it! Don't want that. That would suck.

It's held together by a bamboo embroidery hoop hand-painted in black. The back is covered with an artists' authentication label and a buttonhole to easily hang on your wall with a hook.

Since this is a handmade item, some imperfections are to be expected. However, none of the handmade imperfections will compromise the integrity of the construction.
